Biography
"Always-Excellent Actor Troy Sill"
Troy Sill is a veteran actor, returning to the theater after having appeared in over 50 plays. Before moving to New York, he acted extensively in his native Michigan, appearing in theaters there, including Jeff Daniels’ Purple Rose Theater Company, The Michigan Shakespeare Festival, and The Ann Arbor Performance Network Theater. He is an alumnus of the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University, where he received an MFA in acting. At the Studio, Sill studied with Elizebeth Kemp, Lloyd Richards, Gene Lasko, and Lee Grant. Sill is now a New York City-based actor, having appeared with Rich Little Off-Broadway in "Trial on the Potomac." (Nominated for Broadway World's Best Performance in an Off-Broadway Play)
Off the stage, he is a public school history teacher working with incarcerated youth. And can be found sailing the Tri-State in his own boat.
